Why is the cuffed endotracheal tube particularly important during a dental cleaning?

What this type asks

Four task statements and ten questions, built around one procedure the outline names in full: the Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment. The name is the point. The examinable version of this work is an assessment with a treatment attached, performed on an anaesthetised patient with a protected airway, charted tooth by tooth, and finished in a way that leaves the enamel smoother than the scaler left it. Alongside it sits dental radiography as its own task — producing diagnostic images, not merely images — because most of the disease being assessed is below the gum line and cannot be seen or probed. Questions here reward the candidate who knows why each step exists rather than the order it appears in a checklist.

Frequently asked

How many dentistry questions are on the VTNE?
10. The blueprint in force publishes an item count for every content area, and it gives Dentistry 7% of the paper — 10 of the 150 scored questions (7%). The full-length test on this site deals that number rather than an even share.
Is this section timed?
Not on this page. These sets are for learning the material — each answer comes with an explanation straight away. When you want the whole paper, the full-length test runs the published clock. The real sitting is 170 questions in 180 minutes.
Are these real questions from the test?
No. Every question here is original, written to the published format. The real item banks are confidential and nobody outside the publisher has them.
