Practice tests built from the current blueprint

378 free practice questions across 2 certification examinations, each with a plain explanation — dealt in the proportions the credentialing body publishes today, not the superseded outline most free material still teaches.

The paper has a published shape

Nine content areas, each with a percentage and a question count the administrator prints. The two dark columns — basic nursing skills at 35% and activities of daily living at 22% — are more than half the paper between them. The shortest is a single scored question.

Revising evenly across nine areas is revising the wrong examination — and it is what the free practice packet still teaches, because the outline printed inside it was replaced.

Three things this site will not tell you

Most prep material in this category prints all three anyway, which is how you can tell what is researched and what is filler.

A passing percentage
The documents read for this site do not publish one. So no page here states a score you “need”, and the practice test reports what you got right rather than a verdict.
Fees, retakes and deadlines
Set per state and per registry. A single figure would be wrong somewhere, so those come from your own state’s candidate handbook rather than from here.
Real questions from the exam
The item bank is confidential. Every question here is original, written against the published content outline — including none taken from the free practice packet.

Before you sit it

378 practice questions, every one written for this site. Every figure quoted anywhere here — the item counts, the two-hour limit, the weight of each content area — comes from the programme’s own published document, listed below with the date it was read.

Sources

Every figure on this page comes from one of the documents below, with the date it was read. Requirements change; if a source has moved on since that date, the source is right and this page is out of date.
