A nurse aide is about to give perineal care to a client in a shared room. What should the aide do?

What this type asks

Rights are the part of this examination with the least room for judgment, which makes them free marks: they are written down and they do not bend for convenience. Privacy and confidentiality, the right to refuse care and to be told what refusal means, the right to personal possessions and to private visits and mail, the right to be free from restraint and from abuse, and the right to complain without anyone retaliating. When a question sets a right against a schedule, the right wins.

Frequently asked

How many client rights questions are on the CNA?
5. The content outline in force publishes an item count for every content area, and it gives Role of the Nurse Aide — Client Rights 8% of the paper — 5 of the 60 scored questions (8%). The full-length test on this site deals that number rather than an even share, and the 2016 outline still printed in the free practice packet gives a different one.
Is this section timed?
Not on this page. These sets are for learning the material — each answer comes with an explanation straight away. When you want the whole paper, the full-length test runs the published clock. The real sitting is 70 questions in 120 minutes.
Are these real questions from the test?
No. Every question here is original, written to the published format. The real item banks are confidential and nobody outside the publisher has them.
