What best describes the assistant’s role while the provider performs a procedure?

What this type asks

Still the largest single subdomain at twenty-eight items, but roughly forty per cent smaller than the block of the same name on the old plan — because intake and vitals were carved out of it. What remains is the hands-on middle of the visit: assisting the provider, administering what you are authorised to administer, and knowing which parts of a procedure are yours and which are not.

Frequently asked

How many general patient care questions are on the CCMA exam?
28. NHA states an item count for every area of the plan and never states a percentage, so 28 is the document's own figure — 28 of the 150 scored questions — and not a share this site worked out. The full-length test deals exactly that many from this area.
Is this section timed?
Not on this page. These sets are for learning the material — each answer comes with an explanation straight away. When you want the whole paper, the full-length test runs the published clock. The real sitting is 150 questions in 180 minutes.
Are these real questions from the test?
No. Every question here is original, written to the published format. The real item banks are confidential and nobody outside the publisher has them.
