What authorises a medical assistant to perform venipuncture?

What this type asks

Up from seven or eight items to twelve — a fifty per cent increase, and the second-biggest proportional move on the plan. A medical assistant is expected to draw blood competently, and the current analysis says so with items. If you hold or are studying for the CPT alongside this, that overlap is real and it is now worth more marks than it used to be.

Frequently asked

How many phlebotomy questions are on the CCMA exam?
12. NHA states an item count for every area of the plan and never states a percentage, so 12 is the document's own figure — 12 of the 150 scored questions — and not a share this site worked out. The full-length test deals exactly that many from this area.
Is this section timed?
Not on this page. These sets are for learning the material — each answer comes with an explanation straight away. When you want the whole paper, the full-length test runs the published clock. The real sitting is 150 questions in 180 minutes.
Are these real questions from the test?
No. Every question here is original, written to the published format. The real item banks are confidential and nobody outside the publisher has them.
